Boat Registrations

I am waiting for my boat registration renewal application for 2009. Has anyone gotten theirs?
They are later than in other years, normally I get mine in October. A couple of years ago I didn't get a renewal.
My RMV renewals for Mass yearly plates were right on time. Deval must really need the cash
I'm in Massachusetts.

We don't ususally get ours until after the first of the year.

I am probably partially hijacking but you should know that Massachusetts Licensees will no longer receive a mailed notification of drivers license renewal. In an effort to save $800K the Mass RMV has eliminated this and several other processes from the mail notification way of doing business. For those of us with a bad memory and don't want to be reminded on our birthday, this is just swell news.

Got stopped in Mass. yesterday. Turns out I have been unregistered since Aug. Gun permit renewed 4 months late. Inspection stickers good. I ck. today. With all the paper work the government requires it's tough to get old. Sure would be nice if it was all due in the month you were born. When I forget that I should be denied all this stuff anyway!

But then, I never registered my boat this year, which equates to not using it, so I may not get a renewal form this year........... Something for me to keep in mind for the spring!

Our registration arrived either Wednesday or Thursday; I'm not sure which day because we didn't pick up our mail on Wednesday.
