I know of an older lakefront cottage that might be available. It's in Meredith on lake Winniisquam....very quiet end of the lake. It's a hillside lot with a deep water dock but no beach.E-mail me and I'll give you the details.

Century 21 and Coldwell Banker in Center Harbor/ Moultonboro both have a rental business. Will have many options but most will be on the northern side of the lake

I say welcome in my title because I must assume that you are new to the area for vacationing. $1,000 per week is not going to get you much as far as lakefront on the big lake. There are some "word of mouth" places that do fit your range. Search them out. Sorry to be so cryptic. Personal refs help.

Try Strictly Rentals also. There is a link to them under rentals on the Winnipesaukee links page.

We have stayed at Sunset Lodges for the last 18 years and the kids have really enjoyed it. Beautiful location and away from the big lake, but still accessible. Here is the website - check it out. http://www.sunsetlodges.com/index.html
Good luck, Misakame

I'm sure you already exhausted this resource, but just in case, did you go to www.winnipesaukee.com? Click on "Lake Links" on the left hand side of the screen, then click on rentals. You should be able to find something there.
