I have no birds
Put up feeder before ice out on Rattlesnake, have yet to fill it, usually tons of Chicadees and Nut Hatches and would have to fill it every three to four days. So far a few Chicadees and Goldfinches, what’s up?

Is the feed moldy? Sometimes it will cover with mold and you would need to change it to attract the birds.

Just bought the bag at Rubins in Alton Bay three weeks ago, it smells and looks terrific so I do not think that is the problem. First hummingbird yesterday and waiting for the Tree Swallows to arrive, Love spring.

Birds at the Island
I do not put up any feeders at the island, except for hummingbirds. I do not want to attract the bear! I have not been hiking yet this year to know if it is still on the island. Usually, my hummingbirds dive-bomb me when we arrive. No sign of them yet. I have seen purple martins, turkey and wrens. Hear a lot too. (We are Broad side, but you know that!)
