Hello Folks,
I'm shopping for a 26'-28' cruiser that will be docked on the lake next year and came across a Doral Monticello for sale that looks interesting. Given Doral went out of business a few years ago I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing....especially if support/parts availability is compromised. Any Doral owners out there who could share their experiences post-Doral bankruptcy? Thanks in advance. Radiocontester |

I've owned a Doral since mid 90's, a bow rider and, for the past 10 years, a 28 cruiser. The demise of Doral had no impact to me. Doral made the hull and interior. All other systems were supplied by various manufacturers. Maintenance and repair, performed by a competent mechanic, has never been a problem. Parts have never been an issue.
For me, the 28 has been perfect in size and performance for this lake. Good luck. |

Thanks for the info. I ended up purchasing a Four Winns 278.
