Sprint service
Anybody out there know how the sprint coverage is out there? Moultonborough in particular. AT&T is terrible and getting worse. Thanks

Moultonborough
The only acceptable system is still Verizon .
We had ATT ( junk in Moultonborough ) and have had visitors with Sprint and several others , None other then Verizon work consistently |

Not Great
I had Sprint service in Moultonboro and it was not good. I recently switched to Verizon and it seems much better.

I have Sprint and have a place in Moultonborough, service stinks. Calls in go right to voicemail. Texts work fine. I do roam on Verizion's towers but doesn't help other than to get me a nasty letter from Sprint about roaming usage.

My wife is on Sprint and the reception is spotty at our house in Moultonborough. Calls often go right to voicemail. We have a Verizon hotspot for internet access and that works well. I am on AT&T and my reception is also spotty.

Sprint
Call Sprint and tell them you are in NH and reception is very spotty. They will waive the roaming charges. Put the phone on roaming and viola! You got Verizon coverage!

In my neck of the woods (Alton Mt), I had no service at the house regardless of carrier. Just a bad area for service in general. I switched from AT&T to Sprint for promise of better coverage a few years back, but to my suprise still had no coverage when I first got it. Upon calling Sprint and complaining, they issued something to me - free - called an air wave. This is in internet assisted signal booster. Works flawlessly for me, and I now have full signal and use of my cell phone at my property. Allowed me to ditch my land line and lessen my dreaded Metrocast bill. Sprint is good for me because of the free applicance they lent out. Don't think many other carriers even have/had such an option. Just wanted to mention it as I don't think it is a widely communicated thing for Sprint to offer.

AltonGuy -- you got me hunting --- you have a small typo in the name, it is "airave" (one word)
For others who may be hunting -- here's a little background reading--- seems airave is for Sprint only http://www.pcworld.com/article/138835/article.html http://www.sprint.com/landings/airav...=vanity:airave .

I have been using the airwave for at least 5 years and as long as I am within 100 feet of it it's great. Then I get on roaming otherwise.

Okay --reading everything I can find on the web....Started with Sprint, I also see references to Vz -- Anyone know if AT&T offers one if you stop by one of their Cell Stores ?
not for the Lake .... but my home in MA is in a complete AT&T dead zone .

Customer service by phone was the only way I could get mine for sprint, and it wasn't easy to get. After about 10 calls saying I was in a dead zone I got ahold of a young man on Christmas eve and he told me no problem and I had it shortly after the new year.
