Right back at you on the Happy Thanksgiving and hope that you get enough food to fill up all the tummies at the table.

Default Turkeys on turkey day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! My wife and I were doing the usual Thanksgiving day prep work when we noticed this scene just outside our window. How apropos! I guess they were the lucky ones!

Hmmmm....this could be the making of another Hitchcock thriller.

"The Birds II, When Turkeys Attack" Thanksgiving turns to horror when a group of rogue Toms take back the day and rescue one of their own

Starring Meleagris Gallopavo (genus for the wild turkey )

I suppose we're the lucky ones too. We get to look at those awesome wild turkeys and eat the big fat farm raised ones!

Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night, which will likely start a half hour after eating the turkey...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wink "Tom" doesn't like what he sees...

That's the "Tom" turkey protecting his harem while giving the photographer the "Evil Eye".

Not so far-fetched for this UPS delivery guy, who has 60 seconds of a Tom turkey's attack!

________

Audubon's last issue for 2013 advises that the wild turkey "count" is down in many other states, with no real data acquired yet to account for the decrease.
