Hi all,
We have a concrete landing as a front step and it is suffering from some decomposition. It seems as though water got under the paint and caused some of the concrete to crumble. Can anyone suggest a quality contractor who repairs (works on) concrete? Thank you in advance, Jetskier

Working with concrete is the type of project that can go from "works on" to "total replacement" in a heartbeat. Depending upon the quality of the original work, if it is crumbling now due to water, this may be just a precursor of worse problems ahead, and, unfortunately, the solution may be replacement.
By the way, I am not a concrete man, but I have had a set of steps decay virtually right before my eyes because the original work was "not good". |

All is not rocket science.
A few 2 x 6 boards. Hammer and nails. Shovel. Level. A few bags of gravel mix. A bag of sand mix for top. A couple of trowels - trowel and edger. Water. A weel barrow. And some heavy lifting. LINK |

I know the location, and, furthermore, I know the family involved - need I say more?
