Lake accident Sunday Eve 2/5/05 off Governors Island

Does anyone know what happened on ice at the tip of Governors Island near Eagle Island after dark on Sunday night? Cars were out on the lake with search lights. Fire Trucks and ambulance were on Governors Island waiting.

Someone on a sled hit a bob house. Saw a brief article in the Sun, but nothing in the Citizen.

It's known to be an accident?

Last year, someone bashed through three bob houses in the same locale (by running through them). Alcohol was suspected, I recall.
