Hey there, as an internet idiot and all-around nitwit, I am licensed to be here 24-hours per day!

How's about that water temp for this month of June as compared to June 2009, and 2010? The water temp could be warmer!

Default Get out there

You are so right. Sunday was a beautiful day on the lake and the traffic was light. Water is still a bit cold (66 degrees) but the sun over the next week will help to fix that. Now is the time to get out there and go boating...

The water temperature is around 73 degrees in Green's Basin. It is quite nice-I must say.

Default Water temperature?

What's the water temperature has to do with the use of the lake? I use it year round, boating, paddling, skiing, sledding, snow shoeing, skating etc.

Some people actually use it for swimming plus I assume I will overturn my 13'6" sailboat, a 1987 Starwing, and get tossed into the (cold) water.

Water temperature at East Bear Island on Sunday was 61 degrees. Rough water brings up the colder water so we have a range of water temps all season. Had to go into the water to secure our waterline into the lake.
