Going out on the lake for the first time this year
It looks like this thursday I will be going out on the water for the first time this year. A customer of mine hired my property management company to take possesion of his boat and take it to his dock. Has anyone seen anything out of the ordinary in the Moultonborough Bay area??
Thank You

i went out twice this past weekend...
..from the Greens Basin area to the Barber Pole. Nice ride, not much debris. I no longer need a chart to navigate this area as I do it all the time, but i don't recall any missing markers in the area.
No problem. |

If your motor breaks down and there's absolutely no one out there to give you a freebie tow, there's always TowBoatUS or SeaTow who will tow for something like 300 dollars. If you wait long enough, there is always a freebie tow that shows up. It's simple, just jump up and down, and wave a paddle around like a nut.....it works every time.

Went for a first outing last evening (glad we didn't shoot for today ) Only saw a couple of boats out fishing. What a difference a few months will make. Didn't see any debris.

Went for my first ride Monday evening up Alton Bay to Chestnut Cove and back. Saw just a few fisherman but otherwise very quiet and no debris spotted in the water (believe me I was looking)!

No "Hazards" found so far
I have been out twice this year, 5/6 (calm water) & 13 (very choppy), from Smith Cove down into Alton Bay via the Broads side of Rattlesnake and along the Alton/Gilford shoreline and have seen no debris.
I normally have a collection trash, branches and dock parts etc. to put in the dumpster at Fay's but not this year.

Sunday's the Day
We have a timeshare in Wolfeboro. We heading up this Sunday. Just have to figure out a way to get my pontoon boat up there and back home the following Sunday. My truck needs a motor and won't be fixed for a few weeks.
I can't imagine towing a 18' pontoon boat with our Miata!
