I’ve seen a lot of debris in the water over the years after ice out but last night going through the Weirs I looked out and there was an entire Pine tree, not a large branch, the whole tree. it was floating about maybe 20 ft of where the swim ropes normally would be

This is the time of year for debris to be floating around. Granted, an entire pine tree is unusual, but is indicative of what else is most assuredly out there lurking, just waiting for a propeller or some other crucial piece of a boat to get too close. Generally speaking, it takes a few days of wind to "flush" the debris out of the main body of the Lake (and even after that you need to be careful).

Looks like one of Steve's tiki boats after a rough day on the lake.

At least in Texas, The trees in the lake are stationary.... Hope that doesn't wander to far before someone gets it taken care of......
