Ok, so Ames Farm Inn killed it and continues to rank in our top 5.

All told, we got steak and eggs, toast (raisin and white), a breakfast sandwich, corned beef hash, sausage, a peppers/onions/sausage omelette, and a stack of blueberry pancakes (for the table to share). Oh, and some Dragon fruit juice recommended by Dan.

Everything, including the service, was excellent and reasonably priced. Afterward, we sat by the water for a bit to enjoy the warm sun.

*A note that AFI's pancakes are "blueberry pancakes" not "pancakes with blueberries." This is a distinction that matters, not unlike "M&M ice cream" vs. "ice cream with M&Ms." IYKYK.

I could never make it from where you are over to Ames Farm without a "hold me over" mini-muffin, (or two....or three...)

Hahahaha! Awesome.

Our reservations were for 7:30, though, so early enough to be ahead of the hunger curve as we left camp at 6:50 (we drove as the original forecast was imperfect to take Boatie Two).

A note, though, that Parker's Maple Barn remains just out of the top five because they offer appetizers! Their blueberry bread and donut holes are special.
