Our TOW was MIA ...
I am delighted to report that our dear friend "TiredOfWaiting" will be posting with us again in the very near future!
I have recently been able to make contact with him, and learned that his computer gave him some awful trouble, and after it was finally all fixed he was still unable to log on and post with us. Our wonderful Webmaster has jumped in to assist, and any time now TOW will be finally able to post, and join in all the fun with us again! It'll sure be nice to have our friend back with us! WELCOME BACK!

Hello TOW
Glad to hear you are back, or will be in the very near future. Given what your user name stands for, after about a year, it must be REALLYTOW!!!! .
Glad you are back and we hope all is well with you. Dave

Greetings!
Welcome back to the forum, TOW! It was great to read Pepper's note letting us know that you will be posting again and providing us with your perspective on the topics we chat about. (Sometimes we need all the help we can get!! )
Here's looking forward to reading your next post!

great to hear (read) that TOW is back
Great news:
It was at an earlier forum fest that I got to know what your handle TOW really meant. And I still often chuckle about your explaination of TOW. Computers are wonderful. they are Labor Saving Devices just that sometimes it takes hours and hours to figure out what simple thing you need to do to get it to work right (if you are lucky). When all else fails, reboot. We missed your presence at FF3 TOW and on the forum too. It will be great to have your input and insight back. 73 = (Best regards).

Still trying ...
Well gang, I just received an email from TOW - and he's still trying to work out whatever it is that's keeping him from posting.
The good news is, he's finally able to log on and be acknowledged as being logged in. However, when he tries to post he gets a message telling him he's not logged in. He's sent another message to our Webmaster, and I'm sure the bugs will be worked out PDQ! At least I hope so, because we're all tired of waiting!

I'm Back
Hi all,
Tow is here alive and well. I just fixed the problem at my end. Don was very helpful and helped me out getting back. Pepper, thanks for contacting me and letting me know I was missed on the forum. This gave me the extra incentive to get back on. This past year has been very frustrating with all that was going on including going through THREE new computers all breaking down after short times. I have been lurking around here as a guest keeping up on the forum but until now was not able to post. I have guest at the house right now so I need to keep this short. I will be back on tonight. So till then, Hi to ALL my friends here and hope all is well with you and yours The wait is over. ToW |

Glad to meet you, ToW!
Ha! Ha! I'm first to respond to ToW! Just happened to be on-line before getting dressed for church. I'm new - you're apparently NOT new - glad to meet you, ToW!

The source of your problems ...
... is evident ... 3 computers ! Like children, these things will cause problems that can't be expected to scale linearly. 3 'puters means something like 27.978 times the problems compared to 1 PC. And there we were all thinking it was Mrs ToW's fault (new wife and all that), good to know we can blame Bill Gates instead. Good to see you're back ! So tell us, what do you think about cell phone towers that go faster than 45 mph ...

Welcome Home!
Good to see you back ToW! You and the Mrs. were definitely missed at FFIII! (I was going to come look for you next week. Thankfully Pepper beat me to it.) Hopefully soon you can get back into the swing of things and have more contact with your forum family.

Still here!!!
Hi all again,
Captain Bob, good to meet you on the forum. I'm sure all have made you as welcome as they did me. Mee-n-Mac, what can I say. Missed the both of you. AND of course Congrats on the big event. RG, thanks for the welcome back. We missed you as much as you missed us. We wanted to attend the fest but try as we did just could not fit it into our schedule this year. Skipper of the Sea Que, Thanks for the welcome back. DRH, thanks for you efforts on the fest. As usual it was a success. wish we were there. Upthesaukee, Thanks for the welcome. I hope to type more often now that I am back with you. It has been a very trying year for Mrs ToW and myself . Not with our relationship, that's as good as it can get. We had several other issues and then the computer problems just topped it all off. The other issues took priority over the competers but now those are all behind us. I can now spend more time on the forum. Again thanks to all of you!!!! ToW Last edited by Tired of Waiting; 10-08-2006 at 05:08 PM. |

Welcome Back!
TOW - So glad to see you back. Your posts have been missed.
I can relate to computer problems and frustration as I had my laptop crash in August. Very frustrating getting it back to life again and using the old slow one was a pain. I was sorry not to see you at this years FF so please plan for next year.
