Hi All;
Do the steamboat races follow a set course? We're looking for a spot on the water to camp out and watch. Thanks. |

If I recall correctly, they come out of Lee's Mill go into channel towards Raoul Cove area (maybe around Girl Scout Island maybe to Greens Basin - I forget) back out through the channel, and around Whaleback, and return to Lee's Mill

TomC has the route correct for the parade on Sunday the 17th at 10 am; and they normally do go into Greens Basin.
They will be various steamers out all thru the week and you can usally hitch a ride on one. I beleive that they also take a group trip down into Moultonboro bay, usually on Tuesday ( I think). |

The Weirs Times online has an article on the rally in the latest issue. (It starts on page 3.)
I am looking forward to seeing these beauties out and about. |
