Official 2021 Ice Out Thread

The ice pack was rapidly moving east/disappearing this morning before the power went out...

With some warmer temps coming up the next couple of days and a continued NW winds moderating but not completely disappearing, can't ask for a better ice destroying forecast.

Think island access over the weekend is a real good possibility! Power on the other hand may be by generator.

As of this morning there was ice as far as the webcam could see... now it looks like the first trip by boat to the island of 2021 is on for tomorrow!! -PIG

Our power is back luckily. Everything is blowing out fast by us. We should be on a boat this weekend.

Looks like the ice may have taken out the black marker and FL in front of your place. Nasty spot if left unmarked for any period of time. I would not be surprised if a lot of markers are missing or moved around all over the place when the ice goes out like this.
