Get your facts straight. The bill isn’t dead, it’s still in negotiations. The dems have an issue with giving 500 billion to bail out Boeing, the airlines, hotels, etc. just like you and the Republicans had an issue with bailing out the automobile industry and the banks. They want transparency on any money going to big business and more funding/easier access for small business, education, child care. They are just trying to keep the Pumpkin & his toady Mitch from screwing the American people like they did with their tax cut.

Getting facts right is important. Like the fact that both Democrats and Republicans worked tirelessly to craft legislation to preserve our jobs and economy. Like the fact that Nancy Pelosi stepped in at the last minute to end debate on the bipartisan effort and introduce her OWN 1,100 page bill (crafted in secrecy) as the ONLY acceptable package. Like the fact that Nancy's bill places limits on aircraft emissions, includes tax breaks for solar and wind energy, gives $30 million to the Kennedy Center, increases union authority, etc., etc.. The fact that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and key Democrat "leaders" are using sickness and death in an extortion attempt to enact their personal agendas. The only fact that gives me hope is the fact that most Democrats are just as appalled at this behavior as most Republicans.

Have you ever dealt with a person in serious withdrawal from anything?

They can become a major problem very quickly even if it isn't life threatening. You can expect belligerence as well as physical symptoms of nausea and incontinence. This could result in emergency services being involved and tieing
up a hospital bed until the subject quiets down.

There are enough politicians trying to promote social agendas on the back of this crisis as it is. If I wanted to take "The White Pledge" I would not want it forced on me.

Sure. A good salesman always makes more than management. "Never had a real job. I was always in sales.":

Never said the bill was dead! Get your facts straight if you are going to quote a post.

Please explain what funding the Kennedy Center, Bailing out the Post Office, changing minimum wage when no one is working, Abortion funding, airplane emissions, voting changes have anything to do with or crisis. Purposely trying add specific policies they could not get through a Republican majority Senate the past 3 years at the expense of the public when taxpayers really need them. Yes the corporate bailout on both side will definately be negotiated and resolved but these other items are ridiculous.

I love the tone of your post by the way.
