TiltonBB: Since the OP's Forum name is "Islandbum," I'd guess he keeps his boat in the water, not on a trailer. OTOH, buying a new boat may be about the sane price as a garage.

Of course, with a boat garage, there are annual continuing expenses such as taxes and maintenance .
