Yes, Your Honor...
A few weeks ago, a few Massachusetts DMV employees were discovered selling 100s of real drivers licenses.
Incidents of successful detection by law enforcement should be coming to trial. Lawyers who've familiarized themselves with multiple cases should be sought out in "your friend's" case. OTOH, if it's his first offense of any kind, he should brush up on correct responses in court, and he won't need a lawyer.
