Why would going condo w/slips & parking have any effect on the store?
I talked to Frank after they closed last year. He sounded then like he had had enough. They own/manage other properties and it sounded like everything combined was getting to be too much. He said then that he wanted to spend more time enjoying life, so I’m not real surprised. I’ll miss convenience of having gas at the slip but, as recently retired, I totally understand his decision. The parking and the slips (so I was always told) were at one time were part of the property and selling them choked off the rental income that came from them. Major reason the property wont sell.

The slips and parking spaces behind the store were never owned by the store.
