Mark Island Power Update
We are still without power here, but a line crew was out on Sunday to repair some downed lines and reset fuses. Our power comes from Bear, which they said was a mess, but they are hoping to complete the work there today. The propane is flying through our generator, and because it's too late in the year to get a bulk propane delivery, we've switched over to 100 pounders. These warm nights sure do help!

Bucket Trucks
Last night around 5 PM quite a few bucket trucks were pulling out of Minge Cove Marina. Not sure if they were working there, or if barges had them out on the islands?

Mink Island powered up at 4PM yesterday
I know because my IP Cam woke up and started sending pix again. Since we get our power via underwater cable from Mark Island, it’s fair to assume Mark also has power now (barring any customer specific downed line).

Today's Nov 7 www.concordmonitor.com has a front page story about repairing the electricity on the Winnipesaukee islands with a few photos of the electric utility crews out on boats and sunk boats, and damaged dock and cottage.
One boat looks like a small landing craft with a drop down, front gate, big enough to maybe hold a Kawasaki Mule type vehicle? Like, why not use a real mule ..... the four legged type of a mule? Photos include two overturned sunk boats; someone's old beater pontoon boat, and a nice look'n sport fisherman, white hull with bright green bimini top, still tied to the dock .... plus a smashed cottage roof.

Bear News
Included in the photos in the Concord Monitor article, is a pic of one of the Island Service Company's large barges. Another is the white fishing boat belonging to an East Bear Island neighbor. Last winter, his camp's roof was speared by a large tree limb. Power has been restored to Bear Island. ⚡️

Rattlesnake
I know Rattlesnake has 200 lots along the shore. 20 are owned by Island Assn, leaving 180 in private hands. I have been told that about 150 have structures on them.

We list 193 homes, 2 children's camps and one church on Bear Island. Plus many empty lots.

Popular Islands
Most of the islands are unbridged. Your realtor should be able to provide the information you are seeking. I am surprised that there are many empty lots available on Bear Island. Recently, a large parcel on the west side of Bear was sold. Frequently, there are built-on properties for sale.
