Default Royal Doulton figurines

This isn't exactly Lake related, but is there anyone out there who is knowledgeable about Royal Doulton figurines? I have a small collection, due to inheritance, and I don't really know too much about them. Any information, or suggestion of where to find information, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am also sure there are local "collectable" stores that can also assist
