And now for The Rest of the Story, behind the picture.
When Dad was drafted into the Army, by that time he and Mom already had 7 children, they married young, by the way. So, the Army not wanting to put Dad in harms way, offered him a deployment to work on the Pan American highway project. He could have been differed, but wanted to serve, so we lived in Caracas Venezuela for two years.
So again, this picture of me was taken in 1946, back before Antiques. I must have been given a straw broom and delegated to clean up duty, probably for being a bratt, notice the Two Ts…


Now, back to the regularly scheduled thread.

Almost 72, enough to bring up the average, but younger than some the old fossils lurking around here. But the kids here (y'know, like still in their 60s) likely wonder how I dare call some others "old fossils."
