You really should take a day during the spring, summer or fall and drive up north to Rt-3 in Pittsburg. Moose ally they call it.
Maine has Rt-201, we see so many moose yearly that we take it for granted that some have never seen one. We see them on snowmobiles, ATV's and in the car all the time, as well as bear, coyote, fox, lynx/bobcat.
3 years ago I was mountain biking up behind my house when I came over a ridge and almost ran into a moose. Not sure who was spooked more, him or me.
When you see them on snowmobiles and ATV's, do they have a helmet on?
