Am taking a friend out to lunch tomorrow and am thinking about going to Jo Green's. Anyone been there lately to give me a review??

Per their Facebook page, Jo Green's is closed for vacation til Thurs March 8th.

Try "The Restaurant" just up the street. It is so much better than Joe Greens. Alternatively, there is a gourmet sandwich shop right beneath Joe Greens that is excellent. I forget the name at the moment. You order your sandwiches at a counter and they bring them to you. There is a view of the lake out the backside of the restaurant. The views aren't as good as Joe Greens since you are on the first floor but the food is excellent. Good Luck!

Downtown grille has excellent lunches and a very nice dining area as well.

Decided to play it safe and went to Garwoods. Food is good and you can look at the lake while you eat.
It was a very nice lunch. |
