Default Dauntless

We were out the other day and the "Dauntless" went by. Such a beauty. So I was having some fun with post production. An old fashioned post card kind of look. Available for sale, check out my others as well.

Yes I believe it is, it's usually parked most of the summer at one of their homes! Don't see it out much. It's quite large for that type of boat. Heard it came from Australia originally.

What a beautiful boat. Does anyone know what that metal tubing is on the stern? Looks like a handrail from a swim ladder or maybe railings for stairs from below deck?

My guess would be they are fixed hand rails to assist those boarding and departing the boat at the dock. It would be particularly handy for the elderly, or those persons not familiar with the "technique" required to board a rocking boat.

This arrangement is quite often seen on Yacht Club launches or Water Taxis. NB

It does look like a water taxi handrail. It appears from its position that it is located on the port side and used for boarding possibly from its home dock.
