Secondcurve, my premiums did not change one penny as this was covered under my plans comprehensive coverage. Had this been a collision with another vehicle / ATV I am sure my premiums would have been adjusted.

I think it may depend on the policy. My agent tells me I'm covered if my truck goes through the ice. I ask every winter to be sure.
