Default Chukar . . .

Google "Chukar" and you will find pictures and information. I've never seen one before. I actually had to look this one up!

I was going to say a partridge or quail, but I guess it is a Chukar after looking it up as well. Haven't seen one of those around here before either.

This is very interesting. According to a quick google search, this bird is not supposed to be anywhere near New England. Is this a New Hampshire photo?

You just can't tell by the license plate. It isn't clear enough....

I took this pic of this bird in Holliston, Ma. Really wasn"t very afraid of me. I had never seen this type of bird before. Thanks for the replies.

It is a Chukar. People raise them that is why they are not afraid. Someone probably owns it and it got loose. Happens with my neighbors down on the NH border.
