Maybe someone here knows the answer to this one...

If you buy a one pound lobster, steam it, and shell it, how much meat can you expect to yield?

Just wondering...

A 1# lobster yields 3-4 oz. of meat. if they are hard shelled.

AW you should be able to get a decent lobster roll out of a 1 pounder.
