Suggestions for Septic Pump Out

We live in Suissevale in Moultonboro. This spring, it will be time for us to get the septic system pumped out (first time, 3 year old house). Any suggestions on who you've used and why you like their services would be appreciated.

I have used Lamprey and Maple Ridge. Both about the same price/service.

Lamprey is in town so I give them the business now.

I have used W. Brunt out of Meredith the last 2 times. We're seasonal, do it every 4 years, last time 3 years ago. He was cheaper than the others then. He asked about length of run and vertical height. You may want to have that info ready. They may use a different truck with a stronger pump due to the height. He also looked at my whole septic system, happen to have all the covers off.

Any recommendations for Septic Pumpers in the Lakes Region? I'm in the Gilford/Laconia area. My alarm went off last night.

If nothing else because of your location Scott Lamprey has more than lickley done your system in the past however he or Bob at Maple Ridge are both great.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I called Gosse Septic and they diagnosed and helped me solve my own problem - over the phone. Cost? Free. I'll definitely call them again!

Interesting coincidence, as that's how I started using them as well. My tank alarm went off a couple years ago and I assumed the pump probably needed to be repaired or replaced. I called Gosse for a pump-out. However, after having me describe the problem they carefully walked me through a procedure over the phone for testing the alarm and pump floats. When I removed the septic tank cover I found that the pump chamber was less than half full. Following Gosse's instructions, I checked the pump and alarm floats and discovered that the alarm float had shorted out inside, causing the alarm to sound. Gosse charged me nothing for this, and they also referred me to an Alton septic repairman to replace the alarm float. Like you, I decided right then to give them my future business and they pumped my tank last summer. They are a very customer-oriented business.

Gosse is wonderful! They've helped us out on several occasions and always gone above-and-beyond the call of duty.

Just as a rough guide, what is the range that one migh pay to have a tank pumped out? Like to have an idea.

Depends on the size of the tank. But roughly $300.00.
