This is driver's ed 101 yet I'm amazed at all the people I see doing this. It would also help if people in this position actually put their blinker on (heaven forbid) to alert traffic coming up behind them. Of course if your spare hand (the one not holding the steering wheel) is holding a cell phone the blinker doesn't get turned on.
