Tuesday afternoon's report...........

Emerson Aviation

38 minutes ago

Just returned from this afternoon's flight. Wolfeboro Bay still has ice in it. The winds are out of the South packing it in there. It has melted and broke up the larger pieces. The next 12-24 hours will be, I predict, "Ice Out"

You can see the ice packed in around the docks in Wolfeboro and the rain will help melt it even more.

2013 Merrymeeting Lake Ice-Out, Tuesday, April 16, 1:35 PM

There were a few stubborn ice sheets that held on until today, especially in Pleasant Cove where they were protected from the wind. The wind and waves finally moved them and they blew to the eastern shore by late morning.

I loved what Silver Sands says on their ice out page... no ice out yet, but we are boating anyway!!!!

We are coming to the lake... ready or not.
