Handyman /Carpenter recommendation - doorway water damage

Hi folks:
Got Carpenter ants like you read about at one of my doorways! Looks like I may have invisible water damage at that doorway. Does anyone have a handyman/carpenter that can pull the door jambs and trim-work to see where this water is getting-in?

Since home improvement work has skyrocketed I am hopeful that there are still some folks out there willing to do smaller jobs....

I have a similar issue with a storage shed in a condo complex where I own.
The building actually contains several storage units/closets that are all tied together structurally, but separated by individual doors. I own one of the units. Each unit/closet is about 4' by 8'.

I digress from the original topic..... the door frame/casing has 'water' damage/rot from the ground up about 3"-4", on each side of the frame.
Just a FYI, the door frame sits on concrete.

Thinking the most cost-effective, rather than ripping or cutting out the 'casing', that maybe that the repair can be made with a 'Bondo' type patching material ? I am nowhere near the condo (winter condo), and cannot repair myself, so most likely will have to hire someone to repair in my absence.

Thoughts about using 'Bondo' for fix ?

Thanks !

Have used wood filler or wood putty on some cosmetic issues. Was OK. But didn't hold up in the long run.

Ultimately, ended up replacing the wood pieces in the end.
