Getting from Moultonborough to Topsfield, Ma
Well as most people are heading to the lake this weekend, I unfortunatly have to head to a family gathering in Ma. Topsfield to be specific. Never having traveled there from the Lake, I am wondering if anyone has some advice on the best way to get to that part of Ma. from the lake....
thanks in advance

topsfield is right off Rt 95
so i'd go down Rt16/Spaulding turnpike to 95S. there are several options to get from Moult to Rt16/Spaulding, and since I live off Rt 95 I have tried them all.
smoothest/more miles, but not much slower: 25 E to 16S to spaulding alternate: 25 E to 109 to 171E to Rt16/Spaulding (windy road - not good for motion sickness). Scenic 2nd alternate: 25E to 109S thru Wolfboro to 28S to 11 to Rt16/Spaulding it is going to take you about 2.5 hours no matter how you slice it |

Thanks
Tom,
Thanks for the advice, I used your alternate route and it worked great.....on Saturday.... Of course I feel bad for all those I passed going north who appeared to be stuck in grid look for many miles before and after the tolls on 95.....anyone know what happened?
