Description: i was using a telephoto and we tried to stay far from the loons, however this pair decided they must have liked our green canoe as they followed us around the entire island about 10 to 15 feet behind the canoe.

American Bald Eagle august 17 2006

Description: The day before we were fishing from the canoe out behind Badger Island and an Eagle flew ten feet over our heads from a pine tree. Needless to say my canoe camera was at horse camp, so the next day I brought out my very good camera, very well protected from the elements.

Description: I've always enjoyed this view as perfect for the lake but for the traffic and electrical wires. I remember being very young and everytime leaving the cottage in Moultonborough and heading to the Weirs my Nana would always remark how that view reminded her of her youth in Scotland with the loches.
