Smile Happy New Year

Here's hoping that this thing becomes endemic and we can all move on.

No politics but as a true conservative I would like other things to move......
somewhere.

Happy and Healthy New Year to all.

It can only get better for me...closing up the lake last month I noticed some chest pain and shortness of breath as I was lugging stuff to the boat. Being the " stubborn guy" that I am, I finished everything up over a 2 week period, pulled the last boat, and made an appointment to get checked out. Surprise...open heart surgery at Mass General 3 weeks ago! I should be good to go for ice out and am still Covid free, so at least I have that going for me. I think it's time to bulk up the grandson for lugging purposes, and teach him how to dock the C-Nile...just in case! Happy New Year to all!

That's rough. I was recently diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White Disorder and will need to wear a heart monitor for a couple weeks just after the holidays. Yay us!

Happy New Year, forum friends!

You are lucky your body gave you a warning sign and you checked it out! MGH is the best, so good for you that you had it done there! Sending positive thoughts your way and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Happy New Year to all.

Thankfully you got to MGH and received excellent care. The future is a lot brighter from here on.

MGH has saved me 3 times and one year when in California for the winter where I was hospitalized when a small problem arose, unbeknownst to me my wife called my physician at MGH and he talked to her for 30 minutes. Telling her if she wanted to fly me home he would see me as soon as I landed. I never expected that and it turned out not to be necessary.

Best of health to everyone in 2022.

Smile Happy New Year

Steve,

Good for you. I had Supraventricular Tachycardia on two occasions, for what I thought was A-fib. Had the cardiac ablation and have had no episodes since.
So you have brought me back to square one, and I am genuinely grateful for the advances in medicine, and the fact that I am healthy for the start of the new year.

I'm sure ice out and that first trip to Mark will be extra special for you this Spring. I'm looking forward to reading about new C-Nile adventures in 2022. One of the best strings ever.

Glad to hear you’re doing better, Steve. If I were still up there, I’d captain the C-Nile for you!
