Civil War Period / Living History Event: New London, NH
So I can't figure out how to upload a pic of a poster and I can't find any details from the New London Historical Society so I'll give you my gist.
Here's their website with directions. https://www.newlondonhistoricalsocie...7k8scbQ9zMZ-p8 This event on this Sunday 7/9 will feature a sizeable reenactment force from the 5th NH and 3Rd VT Hemlocks reenactors. They will set up a camp, do drilling. They'll have a functioning replica blacksmith forge and one or two rifled canons firing at 1015 and 0330. The infantry usually does a simulated attack into the historical replica village which is really cool. Suggested admission is $20 per car but it's for a worthy cause. YOHS, Pvt. Morin, 5th NH CO. When you mention the cannon firing at 1030 and 0330, by 0330 do you REALLY mean 3:30 AM, or are you trying to say 3:30 PM which would be actually 1530 military time (the military clock runs from 0001 to 2400, with 0001 being 1 minute past midnight).
