Wounded Flipper
Hi Folks!
With all of the crazy stuff that I do... Well a trip to the ER is no big deal. This time I didn't fall off of a roof or get stuck under a mooring or smashed by a drifting boat. I slipped and fell dumping the ash from the stove. I nursed it for months and then saw the doctor. Rotator cup. Bad. I can not say enough about the professional, friendly and kind care that I recieved at Lakes Region General Hospital (LRGH). Doctor Miller and the operating room staff were simply great. Two weks later I am back at work and getting ready for aquatherm and plowing season. Sometimes LRGH gets a bad rap, but not from me. For now I will give them one thumbs up! In three weeks maybe I'll be able to do two! PS. Stay off of the Perks. I was on them for two days and had dreams of flying cows! Misty Blue. |

Misty,
I'm so sorry to hear about your injury (and how long it took you to seek help ) - and I'm very glad that you're on the road to recovery. But I'm curious - are you saying I shouldn't be dreaming about flying cows? I hope you have a quick and easy recovery! |

Cow Philosophy
I thank the lord that cows don't fly......................
When I shattered my humerous, the percs didn't do as well as the morphine. The dreams on morphine is another subject

MB,wish you quick recovery. I've had both rotator cuffs surgically repaired and luckily years later no ill affects. Follow the advice on rehab and recovery,on my second arm I tried doing things to quickly and got set back a week but in the end alls well. Best wishes.
