Yep, I pulled a loose one out of my yellow labs ear the other day. Gave me the heebie-geebies...hate ticks!

I tried the new "edible" tick prevention treat. Came recommended by the vet they claim it's flying off the shelf. One treat supposed to last three months, for me it beats the slimy, oily stuff I used to put on my dogs back. We'll see how it goes. The dog must get bit unfortunately but then it supposed to kill the ticks.

A friend got bit by a deer tick already. Just great! Along with the good comes the bad.

Default tics siphon

Did not want to say they suck but they have been out down in Mass, for about two weeks in Billerica, Ma. Pulled two off my St. Bernard after a walking in the woods. To make it even more fun, while getting them off I got bit by a mosquito.

Something tells me its gonna be a blood drive for bugs this summer

We have used Frontline Plus for years. If we do find a tick, they are usually already dead. I don't walk them in the woods and I put insect killer on the lawn area they do walk. Best I can do it try to kill them.

Default Tick

I raked leaves a couple days ago and pulled a tick off myself this morning. Fortunately no sign of a bite. A friend got bit last spring which put him in the hospital for four days. Be watchful!

Was down in Falmouth this morning and stopped to let our Golden Doodle out and 2 hours later when I was getting her out of the car she had a tick on her nose. Now I fell all itchy, LOL.

Default Daily tick check

You need to check your pet every night. We pulled a tick off our dog last night.

After reading this thread every little unidentified sensation now feels like a tick.
