Default The Boston Globe Sheads New Light On Laconia

1862 days ago Leslie and I literally bet our lifes on Laconia and it's potential to provide us with the perfect setting to build our new foundation. A recent feature about Laconia in the Boston Globe Travel Section is one of many reasons why we are so happy and proudto be a part of this community. Thank you so much to all the people who wake up each day and do there best to keep moving Laconia in a positive direction.

...and Paugus Bay hasn't been a lake since the dam was built in 1849(?).
Maybe they used the old map in the center of the Weirs Times as reference material?

What a great article! Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed reading it and reminiscing about all the places I have enjoyed throughout my life.

Maybe the lack of MT Washington in the photo was telling us that, in fact, the MT Washington DOES cruise the lake, case in point, it NOT being in the photo, cause its out cruising!! LOL!!
