Default Tipping at marina

Help! The guys at our marina have done a miraculous job compounding our boat, and making it look almost new. I will faint when we get the bill later today, but any hints on tipping? Please give a reasonable range or percentage. Thanks in advance. P.S. If it’s insulting to tip, that’s okay! Better than okay! 😎

Default Tipping?

I'd get "the guys" together for a picture of them with the boat and put it on FB (with permission) for public kudos, and give them each $20.
On an ongoing basis, we get a lot of service when we're not there. Cookies or pizza once in awhile with a tip at the end of the season may be an option.

Default Idea

I once bought my boat guy a gift certificate to a restaurant as a thank you for exceptional service. He drove to my place to repair the boat on the dock. Nothing I would expect him to do but certainly the easiest thing for me.

Just wondering…. Is it customary to tip when getting your boat filled up at marina? How much?

Yes. Depends on what you get. 1 tank? 2? Pump out? Ice? Propane? Water? Anyplace from $5 to $20.
