Default No more Wally's Marine after this coming season

Just got a letter from Wally saying he's going to retire. While I'm happy for him that he's going to be able to set sail into retirement, my selfish side is more than a bit bummed that I've got to start searching for a replacement.

I certainly will miss Wally. He has been servicing my Century since “93”.

That is definately a good for him bad for you scenario. The question in will someone come along and buy the business, and continue to run a boat repair / storage facility.....

Finding a new place to store you boat could be problematic, as most marina are at capacity currently for storing boats....

Would not be surprised if it’s not already sold

The letter really didn't sound like he was selling the business but I guess time may tell on that. If push comes to shove I have a place to store the boat so that's not the main concern it's more the finding a new place to get the spring/fall maintenance stuff done.

PM if you want a recommendation.... I have someone that does a great job, that is local in Moultonborough, they even do storage although I am not sure if they currently have space or not.

Looking form someone in Moultonborough area for spring service, I usually do it myself but want to retire... Used Independent years ago, any recommendation would be appreciated.
