Strong front coming
Looks like about 7:00 pm today +/-. Keep an eye to the west if you are out on the lake. It is moving fast.

Got Lucky!
We really got lucky last night. All day the wind appeared to be coming from the south east, which made for chop where we are on The Broads, but not the usual 2' - 3' waves we normally see from the north west winds. We only got some rain, never hearing a clap of thunder. Expected much worse from the nasty looking radar.

I live in the same area as you...who knows, we could be neighbors. Anyway, we had very few branches down at my place which is on a north facing slope. Once you crested the hill we live on and were on a southeast facing slope, the road was a mess with branches and it became apparent why we lost power for 4 hours during the night.
