Default Summer Weekend Cottage Rentals?

Seems that most place on the lake only rent for full weeks during the summer (which I totally understand). Any suggestions for finding some weekend rentals available with a place to dock my boat?

Default Weekend rentals

Many motels and resorts around the lake have docks. Names? Depends on what part of the lake you want to be at. The Inn at Smith Cove website says they have docks. Naswa, Margate in Paugus Bay, Laconia.

Default Sandy Point

No cottages to rent, but they do have motel rooms & sometimes an efficiency unit may be available in Alton Bay. Minimum of 2 nights on summer weekends, but they do have docks for rent by the day for those staying in the motel. Can usually accommodate boats up to about 22'. They have their own launch ramp & trailer parking. (603) 875-6000.

Default Ames Farm Inn

Ames Farm has apartments and rooms in the houses across the street, docks, and two launch ramps.

Bizer's web page, www.bizer.com/w2sleep.htm, has a list of all (well, almost all) known hotels/motels/cottages that have docking for boats. It's just a list. One would need to contact the businesses directly to find their stay requirements. Additions/deletions/changes to this list would be appreciated.

When I started this survey, one hotel/motel had a docking price of $100 for the first night only (free otherwise). It kinda puts a crimp on a weekend visit by boat.

I say almost all because ... When I went into one motel, they said that they did have docking for boats. The mature woman behind the counter requested that their motel not be on our list. Since Bizer started this list about twelve years ago, I have received two emails that said, "Hey you forgot xxxxxx"

Default Center Harbor

If you want the north end of Lake, try Center Harbor Inn. They have own beach, docks. Also Mt Washington docks there.

You could try searching airbnb. Airbnb hosts tend to be more flexible than traditional rental sites but I'm not sure if any of the rentals have docks.
