Default Lake Painting

I am still looking for a painting of the lake. Not a photo and not an old painting - but something new. Preferrably oil or acrylic but could do water color if it's good - Does anyone know a good artist that sells in the area.

Christine does have some beautiful watercolors and I do recommend her store in Mills Falls. It is right next to Ben and Jerry's.

Loran Percy is not living.
Christine Hodecker is still in business.
Also in Meredith, Hawkins on Main Street may have a few limited edition prints.

Isn't Loran Percy's gallery still open?

I would be curious to see it - my aunt, Pauline Ellis, studied with him. I have one of her paintings and love it.

I don't think so. His daughter shared the shop. She did etched crystal pieces. We had a set of numbered loon wine glasses. I think there may be only one left and no way to replace them. Funny thing how when cottage guests were utilizing those wine glasses and then volunteered to help with the dishes...well....that is when they tended to get broken! Nice guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him once at the shop. He also was a photographer. He took many of the chrome postcard shots of the lake.

Photopost has 12 of his POSTCARDS

Did you check with Pepi Herrmann in Gilford about those wine glasses? They may be able to do them for you.
