Anyone know of person/business that does stump grinding.
In the Lakes Region.

Thanks to all.

Dad Bod Stump Grinding in Moultonboro. Sorry don’t have number. Just did 9 stumps for me a week ago. Came out, looked at job and quoted price. Showed up earlier than scheduled, price was fair, did very good job and job turned out easier than he expected and offered to charge less than he quoted. Retired police officer. I highly recommend him. Very easy to work with.

We use Top Notch tree service exclusively, and the owner's brother does stump grinding. Out of Campton.

Hmmm...that doesn't jive with our, or our association's, experiences at all. It's been a couple years, though, so things certainly could've changed.

It may or may not help but let them know friends of TNT Landscaping sent you

I'll also check in with another contact who has just ventured out on his own and see what his availability is

I have rented a hydraulic stump grinder from Taylor Rental several times. The first time I did so I was amazed at how easy it was. The machine does all the work, you just push and pull levers.

If that is something you would consider it will save you a lot of money.

Do you happen to know if those machines qualify for the rental deals some of the hardware stores in the area offer?

I don't know. I wouldn't think so.

This is the one I have rented. It is a lot less complicated than it looks. The learning curve is about 5 minutes.

Thanks.
This contractor returned call within 45 minutes.

He did the job as scheduled.

Highly recommended.
