Did any forum members get to the chili fest? I didn't, simply because I live 1 1/2 hours away and although I absolutely love chili the other members of my family don't, so I was overruled. I have to admire the owner(s) of the LP for opening up their facility to other restaurants for this event, and am glad to see that they came in second in the competition - kudos to you guys!

Default First Annual Chili Cook Off

Yes, indeed the Lyons' Den won the First Annual Chili Cook Off - And yes a big thanks and many kudos to our hosts at the Lobster Pound. ~ And The Humane Society was the biggest winner of the day!

Roland's chili is beanless and has tenderloin as well as ground beef and just the right amount of heat... We would love to repeat next year!!
