Default Cat kennel?

Need to board our cat for a week in early October. He's never been in a kennel before, and I'm afraid this will be very difficult for him. Any suggestions on the best kennel around? Thanks.

Default Have you considered a pet sitter?

Cats in particular seem to do well with a "sitter". Someone who will come in several times a day and feed the cat. Litter box cleaning.. etc.

We've used sitters several times with no problems.

A web search for "Pet Sitters NH" will yield lots of choices.

Found this one from Alton Bay..

Default Pet Sitting

We've used Sherry at Down by the Bay (see the above link) for a few years now. In addition to taking care of the cats, she brings in the mail, waters the plants and generally makes sure things are in order. Affordable and a much better experience for the cats. Recommend her highly.

We use Wanda at Have a Heart 707-1629....She is bonded, insured, and animals take to her. It's like having a vet watching your animals.

I also have someone come in to take care of my Delilah. She is such a social sweetie and I am such a nut about this cat, that my sitter sleeps over every other night while we're away. She does great!!!! It's still cheaper than a kennel!

I go the sitter route too. It doesn't stress out the cats and I have one who turned 20 Aug 1st so he is our main concern. Our sitter comes every morning for breakfast and sets an automatic timer dish for dinner with their canned food in it.
