Default Macdonald Veterinary Services

Does anyone have any info, good or bad regarding Macdonald Veterinary Services in Gilford?? We need to make a change of vets and was looking at Macdonald as it is very close to our house.

Any info appreciated!

Dan

I had to bring Charlotte the dog in...they all were very nice and the doc was thorough and informative. He even gave me some home remedy advice...I'd bring her back there in the future!

We have been going to Dr. MacDonald (our regular vet) for over 15 years and couldn't be happier.

Our regular vet is in Epping ( Dr. Fallon, another awesome guy), but since Charlotte stays on the island, it made sense to stay in Gilford for her vet visit!

We have had 3 experiences with the practice.

First was when we had to put down our 17+ year old cat. They were very compassionate and caring, petting Effen as as he passed. Then they let me spend a few minutes with him. Tough time made easier by their care.

We used them with another cat for annual checkups and shots. The cat, a calico, did NOT like to be held, either picking or holding down. They handled her just fine. We liked them.

Default Awesome group

They are awesome.

Went for a second opinion years ago, liked his opinion better and have brought 9 animals to him for years now.

Nothing but good things to say, being local is just a plus as anyone with pets would drive however far they needed for this level of care.

Default Thank You!

To all who recommended MacDonald Veterinary Services...Thank You!

We started bringing our dog there about 6 weeks ago. On our first visit we were setup with Dr Montminy. We really felt very at ease with him and his thoroughness and professionalism as well as the entire staff there.

Yesterday, we had a minor emergency and our dog had to be seen right away. No problem getting her right in and to make a long story short, they went out of there way to make sure that the minor surgery she needed was taken care of that day so she would be comfortable and out of pain. Most other places would of had me reschedule the surgery for another day.

The entire staff there is wonderful and we are very confident we made the right decision to start using them as our new vet!

Thank You!

Dan
