Default Mame's being auctioned

In LDS today (6/6), notice that 8 Plymouth Street in Meredith (Mame's) will be auctioned off as part of foreclosure procedure. What a shame.

It's been for sale for a while. I kind of notice business is slacking off, either because of the economy or the service or both.

I talked to realtor about the property. The price is a bit high and the building needs to be brought up to code. He did not specify.

It is a shame. A foreclosure sale usually is not a good thing.

Do you know what day the auction is supposed to be?

This is sad news. A foreclosure is never a happy occasion for anyone. I wish Mame's past owners all the best, whatever their next adventure may be, and hope that whoever snatches this place up can revitalize it into something new and spectacular. We always enjoyed our visits to Mame's - great food in a peaceful atmosphere.
