Moultonboro Snowmobile Club Mystery Ride

The mystery ride is “On” for next Saturday February 10th . We will meet at the Club Garage at 9:00 AM. The garage is on Highway Road off of Moultonborough Neck Road and is off Trail 201 behind the Moultonborough playground. During the ride we will be on the frozen lakes and on trails that have snow coverage, but may not be groomed. The plan is to stop for a morning coffee break and lunch at a local restaurant. Expected return time is 3:00 PM.

A Note about trail conditions. Last Friday’s snowstorm added a 4” to 5” blanket of snow to our trail system. This is on top of a frozen icy surface. In general, people enjoyed using the local trails last weekend. Large portions of the lakes are frozen. Riding on lakes is never completely safe, but the lakes are reaching mid-winter conditions. A Warning, the trails are not groomed so conditions are bumpy.

This years Mystery Ride will not be for novice riders. There will be times that you will have to maneuver around objects and be aware of conditions. The ride will be shortened with plenty of time for breaks. Look forward to seeing you Saturday.
